holding space for your forth trimester

Mama, I see you!

When a baby is born, so is a parent.

It seriously takes a village not only to raise a child, but to support a family!  Welcoming a new member into your life is an epic point in time.  It can be an absolute rollercoaster of emotions, and no one is meant to do this without a team in their corner.  Parenthood changes you in ways you couldn’t imagine, whether it’s your 1st or 10th child.  It’s a WILD ride, so let’s go!

But Krys, what is a postpartum doula?

A postpartum doula supports the birthing parent after bubs arrives.  Postnatally, a doula guides a debrief of the birth to help process the experience, assists in navigating the challenges of early infancy, and supports the birthing parent’s recovery, while providing the ever-needed extra set of hands.

Postpartum is a time of amazing intensity and adjustment and it deserves as much care and attention as pregnancy and birth, if not MORE.

I am here to hold the mother, so the mother can hold the baby. I’ve got your back, MAMA!

Testimonials

~ Jayde

“We hired krystle for the birth of my second child, Ruby. My husband is self employed, so the support of a postpartum doula during those first few weeks was one of the best decisions we made.

After meeting Krys for our initial consultation, I instantly felt a connection. my anxieties about the impednging birth (and subsequent chaos postpartum) were put at ease knowing I had the extra support of someone who genuinely cared, was knowledgable and highly skilled. I would like to particularly comment on Krystle’s cooking…seriously out of this world!

Upon reflection, those first weeks were just magical, and i do attribute a lot of that to hiring Krystle. She looked after me, so I could devote my love and energy to Ruby.”
